Have you ever wanted to change the defaults of Smartlist? For example in Account Transactions (Financial) have the Debit Amount appear before the Credit Amount (rather than alphabetically) or add the Source Document or User who posted?
You can!
On the Administration Page, choose Setup - System and then SmartList Options. Select the Object on the Category line, then you can check any field you want as a default, uncheck those you do not and re-arrange at that!
You can change the maximum records default too!
Little things, mean a lot!
I am using GP10 and I wonder if there is a setting somewhere to get all the records as opposed to just entering a Maximum Records value on the Smartlist Options screen.

On Version 10, you can access this window from Setup ~ System ~ SmartList Options. The record count needs to be a number, so to include all records enter a VERY large number like 999,999,999.
ReplyDeleteNote, you'll also need to set it by Object. There is not an option to set all objects at once.
